New TCP/IP networking tutorial / reference guide

I have created a new Basic TCP/IP Networking Tutorial Reference Guide and IP Subnet Mask Table Reference Sheet to the Tutorial Pages of PenguinTutor.com.

The guide to TCP/IP networking is the longest tutorial that I’ve included so far, and will be useful for anyone studying for the LPIC 102 and LPIC 202 certification exams. The tutorial starts with the very basics about what a network is, to the development of the TCP/IP standards (past, current and future), and onto DNS and routing and dynamic routing technlogies. It is generic so can be applied to Windows as well as Linux. A future tutorial will go into detail about the actual configuration files on Linux, however this one only covers the theory.

A extensive list of the Internet RFCs are also included on the penguin tutor web site in the reference section.
