It is just a bit of fairly simple javascript that animates the images. Most of this can be found in the book Fun Web Pages with Javascript. The book is a good gentle introduction to Javascript, but does not cover everything required to change the image titles. For that see Javascript InnerHTML tutorial on Tizag. You can see the source code by right-clicking and choosing View Page Source (or whatever you preferred browser equivelant is).
